Festive cucumber stars topped with cheese and dill, ideal for elegant holiday appetizers.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Vegetables

01 - 2 large cucumbers

→ Cheese Mixture

02 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tbsp sour cream
04 - 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
05 - 1 tsp lemon juice
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

07 - 1 tbsp red bell pepper, finely diced (optional)
08 - Extra dill sprigs

# How To Make It:

01 - Wash and slice cucumbers lengthwise into thin, even slices approximately 1/8 inch thick.
02 - Use a star-shaped cookie cutter (about 1.2 to 1.6 inches diameter) to cut stars from the cucumber slices. Drain on paper towels to remove excess moisture.
03 - Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Blend until smooth.
04 - Spoon the cheese mixture into a piping bag fitted with a small star tip or a plastic bag with a snipped corner.
05 - Place cucumber stars on a serving platter and pipe a dollop of the cheese mixture onto each.
06 - Top each star with a small piece of red bell pepper and a sprig of dill for decoration.
07 - Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to one hour before serving.

03 -
  • Use fresh dill for best flavor.
  • Dry cucumber stars on paper towels to avoid sogginess.
